Elen and Kyle are the definition of opposites attract. Elen is bubbly, chatty, and super outgoing, and Kyle is sweet, quiet, and more reserved. They balance each other out perfectly, and their day was the perfect reflection of them.
I love Elen’s obsession with princesses and happily ever after, and she blew me away on their wedding day with all the sweet fairytale nods.
Also – please excuse all these ring shots but SERIOUSLY her ring was awesome. I thought that it was great when we shot their engagement photos, but then she added those wedding bands and I basically died.
Wedding dresses with covered buttons. Am I right?
Elen spent hours working on these fabric tassel wands for people to wave as they exited the reception, and I’m so glad she did! It was one of the cutest ceremony exits I had ever seen. And I love the joy on their faces!
It was Elen’s idea to head over to the Sioux City Museum after the ceremony, and I was blown away by how the stunning, modern architecture worked for wedding photos. Wow! All that white, and those big windows – it was a photographer’s dream. This space was great, and I loved the impressive staircase!
Elen made a seriously beautiful bride. She was radiant!
Details, down to their feet. Love Kyle’s funky socks and the “I do” bling on the bottom of Elen’s shoes!
Elen and Kyle spoiled their wedding party with a ride on the Sioux City Trolley after the ceremony. It looked so fun! And – it made for a few more great shots. This wedding party was a ton of fun.
I continued to be blown away when I arrived at Bev’s on the River for the Reception. The reception hall was light, bright, and filled with gorgeous florals. Everything was stunning, and there was just the right amount of color. It was so glamorous.
Mmmm – the dessert table. I think I could have shot this all night! So delicious! I may have sampled a few 🙂
It was easy to talk these two lovebirds into just a few sunset photos before I took off and let them dance the night away. I’m so glad we did!
Elen and Kyle, thank you so much for letting me be part of your day! It was truly an honor, and so much fun to capture all of the beautiful details you spent so much time perfecting to make your day spectacular. I wish you both the happiest happily ever after!
