I have talked at length on this podcast about how much I love social media. And I do tend to get a little bit feisty when I hear from people who don’t like it now, because you have to like all the same things that I like. But because as a business, social media is an incredible tool. And yet I see so many photographers using it in a way that instead of helping them gain business, leaves them feeling really burned out and inferior.
Social media is what you make of it. It’s the type of tool where you are going to get out of it, what you put into it. And that doesn’t mean that you need to be on the platform all the time, but you do need to practice awareness around how you use it.
