Let’s get real for a minute.
I met Kelsey on one of my first days of college in a graphic design class. It was obvious to me within minutes of meeting her that she was serious girl-crush material. She was a few years older than me, an insanely talented designer, and drop-dead gorgeous. Plus, she had a soft spot for sarcasm, a love for coffee, and a solid appreciation of cute and comfy clothes (it was college, after all). Yup, I needed to be just like her.
I also met Chase on one of my first days of college, in a freshman course called “Sex, Drugs, and Rock n Roll.” True story. That’s what you get for sending your kids to a private Catholic liberal arts college, folks! I jest.
Chase was funny, smart, and, even though at that time I had been in a serious relationship for over two years, you would have to be blind to not notice that he was very good looking.
So, imagine my not-surprise when a few years later these two started to be seen around campus a lot more often…together. Hm. Strange. Odd.
Except not at all, because when you’ve got two beautiful humans like Kelsey and Chase, it would just be a darn shame for them to not end up together. Luckily for us, we don’t need to worry about that any more.
The best part about Kelsey and Chase besides everything is that they make each other laugh. Like, truly laugh. And that’s the best, right? The rest of it just fades away when you’ve got that person who can totally turn your day around just by being themselves. It’s the best.
Kelsey and Chase, I’m so glad we are friends, and I’m so unbelievably happy that you’ve found each other! I can’t wait for your wedding day, and for the fabulous marriage that will follow. No doubt, it’s going to be perfect.
And, if someday you decide it’s a good time to make some more adorable humans of the teeny tiny variety for me to love on, I wouldn’t be mad about it.
Love to you both!
