Here is a list of things I could be doing right now:
- Website assignment for class/promotional pieces for website
- Website for professional portfolio use/business card/resume/other stuff to make people want to hire me
- Working on a large paper
- Working on a medium sized paper
- A bunch of other things
Here is the list of things I want to do, so will do instead:
- Watch Mad Men
- Look at wedding dresses online
- Buy shoes
So that’s what’s going on over here. And since I have yet to really do much of a wedding post since the whole, Hey, I’m engaged! post, I thought it would be an appropriate post for a Monday night nope it’s Tuesday. Yikes.
The number one questions I’ve been getting lately about wedding planning is if I’ve tried on any dresses yet. The sad answer is no, I have not! It’s been so hard finding time when me, my sister, mom and cousin can go (and those are the non-negotiable, must be there people – if I could bring all my girlfriends I would, but that would be impossible; so whoever is available can go, and whoever can’t…will get a picture message 🙂 ). In the mean time, I’ve been trying to meet my dress-gawking needs with high doses of Pinterest and Etsy. I’d love to share my finds with you if you’d like 😉
I think this dress is super pretty. I love the a-line look with a semi-full skirt. Although I think if I totally had my way, the belt would have some bling. Nothing crazy…but a little sparkle never hurt anybody.
I love tulle. Lovelovelovelovelove. Give me an excuse to look like a ballerina and I’m in. I’m pretty sure I love this dress as is, but with his shawl:
it may have completely stolen my heart. Are feathers appropriate for a June wedding? I kind of don’t care if you say No.
This dress has my heart. It’s really not what I expected to want to wear on my wedding day, but I think I’m falling in love. It’s simple but gorgeous, flirty and cute but kind of shexy…and my mom won’t wring my neck because I won’t be yanking up a strapless dress all night (this is seriously her number one fear of my wedding day). Plus, it’s an Amsale recreation…and if I could marry Amsale I would probs do it. So there you go.
What is your favorite wedding dress style? There are so many options! These dresses pretty much sum up what my choice will be between – sweetheart a-line or whatever you call that v-neck, spaghetti strap thing. Loooove. Love.
